Children have been enjoying a range of activities today, including building a giant 'Hartsfield Home for Bugs'!
Thanks to a contribution from the Friends of Hartsfield School (FHSA), the EYFS outdoor area has been improved with some new surfacing and general updates. Some additional learning areas and resources will also be added during the summer break ready for September 2025.
After having a professional photographer in for the day, we have updated our website photos.
Friday saw the field and children covered in colour. Great fun was had by all, and we were lucky with the weather.
This morning we are drawing our Easter Egg raffle in aid of the School Council.
The children in KS2 have been powering the supply of batter for pancakes today and yesterday. The children have loved the cycling and also consuming the pancakes in activities led by Herts Catering.

It is the children in EYFS's turn today to have fun sessions with The Prof from Labtots.
The numbers are in and we managed to raise over £4000 for the school on Saturday...absolutely amazing!
Thank you to all that attended our Winter Fair, donated items or bought raffle tickets. A big thank you to the FHSA team, volunteers and staff for all their hard work- both in advance and on the day.
The children have enjoyed a great non-uniform day with many choosing to wear Pudsey and Blush 'merch'! The Year 6's assembly shared information about the causes supported by Children in Need and as I write this we have raised close to £1000 as a school.

Hartsfield School is fundraising for BBC Children in Need
Across the school there will be additional opportunities this week to discuss and support positive behaviour expectations and choices and prevention of bullying. Tomorrow (12th November) is Odd Socks Day to celebrate what makes us all unique.
We have had Harvest Festival assemblies today for all years. Thank you to all our families for their generous donations of food items. The Letchworth & Baldock Foodbank will be thrilled to receive these to support local families.
