School Results and SATs 2018

We are proud of every single child at Hartsfield School; of their strengths, talents and skills across a wide range of academic, sports and arts achievements. However at certain academic points, children sit more formal assessments. Our academic results last year continued the Hartsfield trend of excellence and we are, as always, proud of all our children.

Early Years Foundation Stage Profile

The percentage of children attaining a 'good level of development' (GLD) in 2018 was 80% compared with National levels of 72%.

Year 1 Phonics

The National Phonics test was used to measure the Phonic progress of all Year 1 children. 86% of our Year 1 children passed the 2018 test.  As a context, Nationally 82.5%  of children passed the assessment and achieved the expected standard at the end of year 1.

Year 2 Children

Moderated teacher assessments based on SATs were used to inform teacher assessments when making end of Key stage 1 ( Year 2 ) judgements.
