School Results and SATs 2017

We are proud of every single child at Hartsfield School; of their strengths, talents and skills across a wide range of academic, sports and arts achievements. However at certain academic points, children sit more formal assessments. Our academic results last year continued the Hartsfield trend of excellence and we are, as always, proud of all our children.

Early Years Foundation Stage Profile

The percentage of children attaining a 'good level of development' (GLD) in 2017 was 81%. As a context, in 2016, Nationally 69% and in Hertfordshire 70% of children achieved a 'good level of development'.

Year 1 Phonics

The National Phonics test was used to measure the Phonic progress of all Year 1 children. 90% of our Year 1 children passed the 2017 test.  As a context, Nationally 81% and in Hertfordshire 83% of children passed the assessment and achieved the expected standard at the end of year 1.

Year 2 Children
