This week, Eco-Squad have been busy planting 30 native hedgerow saplings, provided free by the Woodland Trust.
When fully grown, the hedgerow will provide a natural barrier to reduce pollution and increase biodiversity in our school grounds.
Excitement is building as dinner time approaches. Crackers and Christmas music are prepared and the Christmas dessert options are ready!
Saturday 8th November 2025 saw around 3500 attendees and 200 volunteers and helpers at Hartsfield for the Baldock Community Fireworks event.

Sports Day is here after a week of activities. EYFS/KS1 have had a great morning with the sun shining and lots of cheering. KS2 this afternoon!
Children across the school are taking part in Drumba sessions today and tomorrow- a combination of zumba and drumming! Great fun and part of a range of activities across our Sports Week.
Children have been enjoying a range of activities today, including building a giant 'Hartsfield Home for Bugs'!
Thanks to a contribution from the Friends of Hartsfield School (FHSA), the EYFS outdoor area has been improved with some new surfacing and general updates. Some additional learning areas and resources will also be added during the summer break ready for September 2025.
After having a professional photographer in for the day, we have updated our website photos.
Friday saw the field and children covered in colour. Great fun was had by all, and we were lucky with the weather.
